Frequently asked questions about Cloud label

You can easily create an account by following the link GET STARTED FOR FREE , selecting a label and entering your company information. Alternatively, you can book a demo with our team, to preview the platform and get help selecting the suitable account level.

You can also read this section in our docs if you want more information.

Yes, Cloudlabel works on both Mac and PC.

With a FREE account, you are limited to 100 PDF prints per month, as well as one user and one label.

With a STARTER account, you can instead create an unlimited number of print jobs, send the print jobs directly to a label printer, and add more labels. You can also have up to ten users in the account.

With STARTER you can increase the number of users up to 5, in STANDARD you can add a maximum of 10 users. If you need more users than that, you get unlimited users in a BUSINESS account.

With a label, we mean the number of label templates you need. A label template is a file designed in NiceLabel Designer and uploaded to Cloud label. All stored label templates count, regardless of whether they are used or inactive in the account..

By print path, we mean the way in which users get to create their print jobs, based on the labels made available to them

  • My articles – The user starts with one or more articles stored in Cloud label, searches for article names, and prints all labels associated with the article.
  • My orders – The user starts with one or more orders stored in Cloud label, searches for order names, and prints all articles connected to the order with all labels connected to the order.
  • My labels – The user starts by selecting one of the labels stored in Grafokett Online and assigned to the user’s group, select the label and then search for the article name or order name and then print the label based on the selection.

A printer model is a printer added to Cloud label, which is available for users to send their print jobs to. For example, the Zebra ZD421 203 dpi is a printer model and the Zebra ZD421 300 dpi is another printer model.

You can use several printers of the same model and resolution, but only use one printer model in your account. So, it doesn’t matter if you have one or ten ZD421 203 dpi assigned to different IP addresses, groups, or to different labels, they still count as only one printer model.

Absolutely! In all paid accounts, you can upload label templates created in NiceLabel Designer. In addition, if you sign up for  STANDARD or BUSINESS, a Designer Pro license is included.

Yes, there are two ways to initiate a print job:

  1. Create a hyperlink in your system with label, article data, printer and number of copies as parameters and point it to (https://www.cloudlabel.com). Then the user will only have to approve the print job in Cloud label to get the label printed.
  2. Your system sends a POST message that contains label, article data, group, and number of copies. Grafokett Agent then takes care of the print job and prints it to the correct printer.

Alternative 1 is included in a STARTER account, while alternative 2 is available as an add-on.
From STANDARD, both alternatives are included.

Cloudlabel can integrate with all ERP systems that can generate some form of outgoing data.

One simple way to create print jobs from an ERP system is to have the system create flat files (txt/csv) that contain the information that should be printed on the label.

Several systems such as Pyramid Business Studio, Visma Business and Microsoft Dynamics, can create these files at the correct time. The files are then processed by Grafokett Agent and printed to the printer of choice.
